Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the housekeeping team to maintain exceptional cleanliness standards.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
- Resolve guest complaints and respond to special requests promptly.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with other departments.
- Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget.
- Oversee the scheduling of staff and manage labor costs effectively.
REQUIREMENT
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality certifications are a plus.
