The Channel Marketing Assistant for Modern Trade/General Trade supports the Channel Marketing Executive in the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at driving brand awareness, product sales, and consumer engagement within both modern and general trade channels. This role involves assisting with promotional activities, coordinating marketing materials, and providing administrative support to ensure the successful implementation of channel marketing initiatives.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Campaign Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across modern trade and general trade channels.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to produce and distribute marketing materials such as POS displays, brochures, and promotional items.
- Support the setup and execution of in-store promotions and activations, ensuring all materials and products are accurately displayed.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect and compile sales data, consumer feedback, and market insights to support the evaluation of marketing campaigns.
- Assist in the preparation of reports that analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights for future campaigns.
- Monitor competitor activities within both channels and provide updates to the Channel Marketing Executive.
Sales Team Support:
- Provide marketing materials and information to the sales team to aid in their efforts to promote products in modern and general trade channels.
- Assist in the organization of sales training sessions and presentations to ensure the sales team is equipped with the latest product knowledge and marketing strategies.
- Respond to requests from the sales team for additional support or materials as needed.
Administrative Support:
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to channel marketing activities, such as scheduling meetings, managing budgets, and maintaining records.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, agendas, and other documents to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the management of marketing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring all activities are within the allocated budget.
Relationship Management:
- Maintain regular communication with retail partners, distributors, and internal teams to ensure smooth coordination of marketing activities.
- Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in both modern and general trade channels.
- Support the negotiation and management of contracts with vendors and partners.
Another Task might be assigned by the Head of Marketing or Management team from time to time.
QUALIFICATION / experiences
Associate degree or higher in Sales or Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in marketing, sales support, or a related role.
Experience in FMCG or beverage industries is a plus, particularly in modern or general trade channels.
