Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • -Assist the Unit Manager (UM) and Risk Manager (RM) in conducting risk assessments in  line with the risk operational plan.
  • -Review audit findings, identify root causes, and communicate them to the UM.
  • -Support the UM in reviewing loan provisions, performing stress tests, and conducting  Business Continuity Planning (BCP) exercises.
  • -Identify, assess, and address risks to branches and analyze their potential impacts on the  organization.
  • -Conduct loan reassessments according to the operational plan and ensure compliance  with risk management policies.
  • -Ensure the accuracy and completeness of risk working papers and risk reports; submit  these reports to the UM and RM.
  • -Perform daily monitoring of key risk indicators and provide timely updates on risk  exposure.
  • -Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management policies and  procedures.
  • -Participate in the creation and execution of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • -Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk controls and recommend improvements as  necessary.
  • -Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to risk  management.
  • -Provide support in the preparation of risk management presentations and reports for  senior management.
  • -Complete other tasks and projects as assigned by the RM and UM.

Competencies:

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or a related field.
  • -Preferably a recent graduate or with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • -Creative, dynamic, flexible, self-directed, and self-motivated team player.
  • -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • -Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • -Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
