Job Description

1. Organize and conduct marketing research studies, evaluate and analyze findings of consumers’ behaviour and perception, competitors’ tactics and activities and market share.
2. Manage and oversee a team of telemarketers, ensure each telemarketer understands and is trained in the technical aspect of strategic sales and marketing and basic phone etiquette to establish good customer relationships.
3. Conduct checks and monitor competitors’ movement and sales performances, volumes, and price fluctuations in the market.
4. Conduct checks on whether overall servicing of outlets by the sales team is effective and optimal for both customers and the organization, ensuring service delivery standards are met.
5. Prepare monthly finding reports that evaluates how the key sales and marketing strategies employed at the local, regional and national levels have performed in comparison to KPIs set, for presentation to all stakeholders.
6. Develop solid and long-term influential relationships with external partners, such as distributors, customers and key decision makers at all levels.
7. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
8. Oversee campaigns where telemarketers engage in quantitative research that involve large number of consumers being surveyed.

Job Requirements

- Minimally 5 years of experience in Business Analytics, Market Research, Analytical Skills, preferably from an MNC company of FMCG industry. Demonstrated success in managing high-level commercial relationships and able to supervise a diverse team.
- Good command of the English language; written and spoken, Computer/ IT - savvy.
- Highly numerate with logical thinking skill, result oriented and is hands on.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills to identify core issues and optimize business processes and sales and marketing strategies.
- Clear understanding of the business to be able to focus on core issues and be able to consolidate data.
- Knowledge and understanding of the industry, competitor movements, and customers’ value chain and business practices to exploit all available business opportunities.
- Skill in examining and reengineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and impacts, and/ or projections.
- Able to analyze the effectiveness of strategies employed in current state of the market.
- Excellent communicator who can handle difficult business situations well and represent the organization both inside and outside in a professional and ethical manner.
- Ability to make objective and informed decisions, critical thinking for the benefit of the company.
- Able to collaborate across different levels of the organization and a proven ability to build and manage relationships.
