Job Description
1. Sales & Distribution
• Achieve monthly sales volume and revenue targets in assigned modern trade accounts.
• Ensure full product range availability and sufficient stock levels at all times.
• Monitor and minimize out-of-stock situations and coordinate replenishment with the distributor and supply chain team.
• Support the listing of new SKUs and track performance by outlet and category.
• Assist Modern Trade Managers in implementing joint business plans, sales initiatives, and promotional strategies with key retail customers.
• Ensure consistent execution of trade activities and compliance with account agreements.
2. Account & Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, category buyers, and merchandising partners.
• Ensure compliance with trading terms, pricing, and promotional agreements.
• Communicate company objectives, sales programs, and marketing initiatives to store-level contacts.
• Handle trade issues, customer feedback, and coordinate solutions promptly.
Merchandising & Visibility
• Supervise merchandisers and promoters to ensure high-quality display execution, planogram compliance, and cleanliness.
•Secure premium visibility (end gondola, chiller placement, and secondary displays).
• Ensure correct product pricing, promotion signage, and POSM placement according to plan.
• Conduct regular outlet audits and photo reports for visibility and planogram compliance.
Promotion & Activation Execution
• Implement trade promotions and activations as planned by marketing and trade marketing teams.
• Monitor effectiveness of promotions (sales uplift, shopper engagement).
• Ensure materials are delivered and properly used at outlets.
• Collect market intelligence on competitors’ activities, pricing, and promotions.
3. Team Supervision
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives, merchandisers, and promoters.
• Assign daily routes, set performance targets, and monitor field activities.
• Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and merchandising standards.
4. Reporting & Analysis
• Monitor daily / weekly sales performance reports, outlet coverage reports, in-store visibility across assigned accounts and competitor updates.
• Analyse sales performance by account, SKU, and promotion.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve sales effectiveness.
5. Working Conditions
• Frequent field visits to modern trade outlets.
• May require travel to provincial modern trade stores occasionally.
• Flexible hours; must visit stores during operational hours, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable handling alcoholic beverage brands (beer).
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in sales, preferably FMCG or alcoholic beverages.
• Previous experience with beer or beverage distributors.
• Knowledge of Modern Trade operations (supermarkets, minimarts, etc.).
• Existing relationships with modern trade chains in Cambodia.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with merchandising principles and planograms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and mobile sales apps.
• Basic English communication skills; Khmer fluent.
• Ability to lead a small field team and manage multiple outlets.
