Job Description
Strategic Planning & Brand Alignment
• Assist the Event & Activation Manager in developing event & activation strategies aligned with overall brand and marketing plans.
• Use consumer and market insights to inform which activations/events are likely to deliver maximum brand visibility and engagement.
Event & Activation Execution
• Manage the end-to-end execution of activations: launch events, sampling, sponsorships, festivals, product promotions, etc.
• Oversee the planning, production, and maintenance of all event and activation assets, including staging, backdrops, display units, props, and branded materials.
• Coordinate logistics: venues, vendors, permits, staffing, equipment, transportation, POS (Point of Sale) materials.
• Ensure timely setup, quality control, and teardown of all event and activation elements.
Vendor & Partner Management
• Closely work with the procurement to source, negotiate, and manage relationships with agencies, suppliers, and partners to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
• Supervise production of event materials, promotional items, and branding assets.
• Coordinate internally led production and inventory tracking of activation equipment and event assets.
Budget & Financial Control
• Support budget planning and ensure activities are delivered within approved budgets.
• Track expenditures, monitor ROI, and prepare post-activation financial and performance reports.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Trade Marketing to ensure event alignment with campaigns, compliance with regulations, and business objectives.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver consistent brand messaging and integrated marketing support.
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure all events and activations comply with relevant laws and regulations, including alcohol advertising, permits, and safety requirements.
• Identify and manage potential risks, implementing contingency plans where necessary.
Performance Measurement & Reporting
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on activation performance against KPIs.
• Collect consumer feedback and insights to improve future event strategies.
Creativity & Innovation
• Contribute innovative ideas to create memorable brand experiences and differentiate the brand from competitors.
• Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behaviors, and experiential marketing best practices.
Operational Excellence
• Ensure that event operations run smoothly: from setup, vendor coordination, staffing, to breakdown.
• Maintain high standards of event delivery (presentation, customer experience, brand consistency).
• Manage internal resources and tools used for event and activation execution, ensuring readiness, reusability, and brand consistency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in event management, brand activations, or experiential marketing—preferably within the FMCG, beverage, or alcohol industry.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and manage end-to-end events and activations without external agency support, including asset production and on-ground operations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, both internal and external.
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in delivering engaging, consumer-focused brand experiences.
- Sound knowledge of event regulations, licensing requirements, and alcohol advertising laws in Cambodia.
- High attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency and quality standards.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as per campaign requirements.
- Strong leadership mindset with the ability to work independently and drive operational excellence across multiple simultaneous activations.
