Job Description
Desktop Client Management Unit is responsible for leading, managing, and optimizing end-user computing services at Hattha Bank. This role oversees the management of desktop and laptop infrastructure, endpoint security, collaboration tools, and cloud-based productivity platforms. The position ensures operational excellence, technology standardization, lifecycle management, and user satisfaction across the bank while aligning with corporate IT strategy and compliance requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
-Lead and supervise the Desktop Client Management Unit, providing direction, coaching, and performance management to the team.
-Define unit objectives, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of IT services to end users.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives for desktop client services and user experience.
-Ensure effective inventory management and lifecycle planning of desktop and laptop devices through SCCM and IT asset systems
- -Plan, coordinate, and implement technology refresh projects to align with business growth and IT strategy.
- -Collaborate with procurement and asset management teams for IT hardware acquisition, maintenance, and replacement.
- -Provide regular reporting on inventory, utilization, and performance to IT management and group-level stakeholders
- -Manage and administer Microsoft 365 cloud services, including Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- -Plan, design, and implement cloud-based solutions that support business requirements.
- -Ensure effective integration of collaboration tools into daily operations.
- -Manage endpoint security, including deployment of antivirus solutions and enforcement of security patching for operating systems and browsers.
- -Oversee BYOD policies and secure mobile access via Microsoft Intune.
- -Ensure compliance with corporate IT security policies, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
- -Oversee management and support of conference room systems, online meetings, and video conferencing platforms.
- Skills Specifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
-Minimum 5–7 years of experience in IT end-user support, system administration, or desktop management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- -Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, SCCM, Intune, and endpoint security solutions.
- Proven experience in IT asset management, lifecycle planning, and vendor coordination.
- -Knowledge of ITIL framework, IT security best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- -Strong technical knowledge in desktop infrastructure and cloud productivity platforms.
- -Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plus
