Job Description
As the Senior Unit Manager of DSA for Data Analytics & Bank Operational Report Development, the primary objective is to oversee and optimize the department's operations to ensure efficient data analysis and reporting for banking operations. This entails managing a team of analysts and developers,fostering a collaborative environment for innovative solutions, and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making processes within the bank.Additionally, the role involves staying abreast of industry trends and technologies to continually improve data analytics methodologies and reporting frameworks, ultimately driving the bank's competitiveness and success in the ever-evolving financial landscape.
Duties and Responsibilities
- -Supervise a team of analysts and developers, including task delegation, performance evaluations,and professional development.
- -Supporting month-end closing entry tasks with related team.
- -Develop and implement strategic plans for data analytics and operational reporting aligned with the bank's objectives and regulatory requirements.
- -Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of data to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making across various banking functions.
- -Lead the creation and maintenance of comprehensive operational reports and identify areas for improvement.
- -Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data and reports through rigorous quality assurance processes and adherence to best practices.
- -Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance data analytics capabilities and streamline reporting processes.
- -Ensure proper documentation of processes, methodologies, and findings to facilitate knowledge sharing, audit trails, and regulatory compliance.
- -Complete ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor may include special data analyses,customized reporting, and cross-functional projects, to support the bank's strategic objectives and operational priorities, etc.
- -Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight timelines, multiple priorities, and demanding environments,in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment.

- Skills Specifications
- -Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related fields.
- -At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Prior experience in managing teams and overseeing data analytics projects is highly desirable.
- -Advance of Oracle PLSQL, and T-SQL Statement
- -Good at data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Apache Superset)
- -A strong understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements,and reporting frameworks relevant to the banking industry.
- -Good leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members,foster a collaborative work environment, and drive results through effective communication,delegation, and conflict resolution.
- -Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, capability in task prioritisation, and ability to work through ambiguous situations.
