- Credit Risk Policy Implementation: reviewing/monitoring the implementation of credit risk management policies, procedures, and other programs including tracking the loan exceptions on the established policies and procedures.
- Policy and Procedure Development & Management: developing and managing all credit risk related policies and procedures under Risk Management Department that align with the Bank’s business objectives, risk appetite, laws, and regulations for sound credit governance.
- Portfolio & Credit Modeling: Designing, implementing, and maintaining credit risk rating tools (CRR), expected credit loss (ECL) and other models in alignment with CIFRS requirement, to assess and manage credit risk across various segments of the Bank’s portfolios, including all issues arising from modeling work.
- Portfolio Testing: regularly conduct credit stress testing as per regulatory or internal management’s requirement including validating and reviewing on segments and portfolio impacted, providing the reason and justification, and model parameters of post-model assessment.
- Consultation/Review/Collaborate: assisting line manager to consult with all relevant users and business units on the development of credit modeling’s and setting appetite limits, tolerance, and ongoing monitoring;
- Portfolio Risk Management: monitoring concentration risk of the Bank credit’s portfolio, and report to line manager for recommended change in the business strategies of business units.
- Reports: generating various regular reports to senior management including head of department/division, Risk Management and Compliance Committee, and others as instructed by line manager.
- Regulatory Compliance: staying updated with relevant laws and regulations and ensuring policies, procedures, and guideline reflect these changes.
- Market & Industry Knowledge: well-rounded understanding of the current market and industry practices and trends and leading team to apply them in daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Training and Development: developing training materials and providing regular trainings on various credit risk management topics to business team, and addressing ongoing challenges and solutions discussed throughout the sessions for a well-rounded credit risk communication and sharing.
- Team Capacity Building: developing team capacity through coaching and designing relevant topics to match training needs, including internal and external training assignment and programs.
- Core Values: maintaining highest compliance of the Bank core values, and particularly rendering a transparent and fair credit risk management process and ensuring confidentiality of customer sensitive information.
